CorelDraw Tricks: Tweaking PowerClip Default Setting

By default, CorelDraw’s Powerclip is auto-center. This means that when you powerclip an object , it will automatically shift to the center of the main object (container). This setting requires you to manually shift the position of the power clipped object (content) to the desired location by editing the content of the power clip.

To avoid this (and so save time), we have to change the default setting that controls the powerclip.

How to Create a Formless Glossy Button – 7 Step Photoshop Tutorial

Button is always a part of our hub, it could be formed as square, circle a bar or just a plain text. In this tutorial I will show you how to create a formless glossy button all you need to know is a basic knowledge in pen tool. When it comes to achieving a distinct shape, pen tool is a big help.
Step 1
Create a document with a background of your choice, as for me, the image look more appealing in black or white. By holding the keys together (Shift+Ctrl+N) you’ll get a new layer as result to this command, or just simply click Layer>New>Layer in menu bar. In this layer, look for pentool, using this tool, all you need to do is make a straight line by clicking the first one on the document and click where you want to end the line, you’ll get something like this: (more…)
